Following on from the success of our Hi-Lift and Bi-Fold models, we knew our next challenge was to design a new style Ultisow Single Disc Seeder that was not only wider than ever before, but it had to be easier to transport & super robust to withstand our customers increasing expectations. After years of R&D, we celebrated the release.
Available in working widths from 18m to 24m which is a perfect match for farmers who have CTF operations requiring multiples of 12m. Â Our telescopic hitch allows the seeder to be closer to the tractor while working for the ultimate maneuverability on such a massive machine. This design also gives the operator the same amount of clearance as the Hi-lift but with the ability to fold forward giving it a narrow transport width.
Due to the unique design, it has a transport width of only 4.85m, making it easy to transport through narrow gateways moving from farm to farm. With only a 4.2m transport height you don’t have to worry about special permits.
Our Forward Fold owners are achieving greater productivity due to the larger widths, ease of transport and time saving from reduced maintenance while also gaining an increase in yields which stems from a narrower row spacing.
Overall, the FORWARD FOLD range is bigger, better and designed smarter than any Ultisow before. Â

Easy Transport with simple FORWARD FOLD design
Having the ability to move from job to job quickly & easily has never been more important. To also do that safely is paramount.
The Forward Fold design easily folds up to 4.8m wide & 4.0m high from within the tractor cab & only takes a matter of minutes.Â
Built strong for our harsh AUSTRALIAN conditions
Built with super strong 350 x 16mm & 300 x 16mm RHS Centre Frame plus 300 x 12mm wing frames that give the FORWARD FOLD strength, stability, & weight for excellent penetration.Â
Wide but still maneuverable enough to go pass to pass
To ensure maximum productivity, the FORWARD FOLD has been designed to be able to turn at headlands like a much smaller machine whilst still offering an acre-munching working width of 24m wide.Â
Strong, Fully Hydraulic Adjustable Drawbar
A simple hydraulic adjustment on its long drawbar allows the operator to level up the seeder to ensure perfect consistency in down pressure between the front and rear row units, thus giving optimal seed placement.
Big Tyre Package for excellent flotation
The Ultisow FORWARD FOLD range comes with different tyre packages depending on the working width and drawbar style. Rest assure, the tyre package we have selected are oversized and made from quality materials including the Disc Hub, Tyre & Rim.
CTF friendly design with 12m & 24m working widths
With the increase in farming operations changing over to full CTF based on a 12m multiple design, the Ultisow FORWARD FOLD works in perfectly as it comes in either 12m or 24m working widths

Serafin ULTIFORCE Row Unit Hydraulic Down Pressure System
Replacing the standard Heavy Duty Spring down pressure setup on the row unit, the ULTIFORCE system includes a hydraulic cylinder on each unit that individually controls the amount of force applied, thus improving seed placement & row unit lifetime.
Optional Front Castor Wheels on Drawbar
If you are wanting to have a tow between air cart, then we have designed a special drawbar with weight pack. This drawbar features two large castor wheels & a strong A-Frame.Â
Serafin Stainless Steel Air Diffuser with Dust Cap
Another common feature on over 95% of our Ultisow Single Disc Seeders sold is our very own Stainless Steel Air Diffuser plus replaceable rubber lid & dust cap. The diffusers takes out excess air from the main seed / fert hoses & helps improve seed placement.
Serafin Spiked Closing Wheel
Serafin’s own Spiked Closing Wheel replaces the standard smooth closing wheel. It provides some tilth next to the seed slot that assists with closing the seed slot more efficiently in harder conditions.Â
It also reduces the amount of closing wheel bounce resulting in more even, consistent closing wheel down pressure
Individual Small Seeds Placement Kit
Allowing the operator to sow pasture seed and canola through a separate seeding tube that runs along the press wheel arm and places the seed into the seed slot once the press wheel has gone through.Â
This separates the main seed / fertiliser from the small seed plus sows this at a very shallow depth, independent to the main seed depth.
Serafin Ultiforce - Hydraulic down pressure system
Serafin Ultiforce is a low-maintenance hydraulic down pressure system with it’s own cylinder. It allows for more consistent down pressure, reduced row-unit vibration and increased durability, improving seed placement.
D-Cup Air Diffuser
Not standard but highly recommended are the D-cup plastic air diffusers which are fitted to the row unit to allow for higher rate of air flow to reduce blockages as well as reduce seed bounce.Â

Needham Press & Gauge Wheels
New for 2021 we can offer now both the Needham V8 firming wheel and Needham Urethane Gauge wheel options for our SB2019 Disc Opener.
The V8 firming wheel is known for its longevity and ability to flex so that the press wheel continually gives the optimum seed to soil contact.
The Gauge Wheel is also very long life and quality bearing system.
Manutec Single Press Wheel
Replacing both the small BUCO press wheel and the cast closing wheel is the single arm with 15″ Manutec press wheel.
This works very well in soft, sandy conditions where the seed slot closes over itself. It is low maintenance and long wearing.
Manutec Mud Razor Gauge Wheel
A complete replacement of the standard BUCO depth wheel is the Manutec Mud Razoe option.
Fitted with a 4 1/2″ solid rubber wheel with an inbuilt metal scraper ring on the inside, this gauge wheel works well is muddy conditions.
Needham Press & Gauge Wheels
Available on the Serafin SM unit is the Ryan NT (formerly RFM NT) Spring gauge wheel. Featuring improved resistance to mud build up and less weight.
The flex in the steel spring ensures that any mud build up will release, keeping the unit turning in the most sticky conditions.
