Double Disc Seeder
TLS: SUPER STRONG, YET COMPACT!
The TLS frame is super strong yet compact with the units on one row to keep weight close to the tractor, in turn requiring less horsepower than other comparable sized seeder bars on the market. Available in folding or rigid models provides owner operators the choice of a manueverable easy to transport machine or a more cost effective solution depending on their needs.
Fitted with Tatu Double Disc row unit that features a 15” discs with leading edge for easy penetration, cast cover wheel for perfect seed contact and spacing’s from 158mm to 375mm. It is the ideal machine for row crop farmers due to its long triple spring that can easily transition from sowing on raised beds and cotton hills to planting grain on flat ground. This model is versatile enough to handle either larger capacity tow behind carts or the more maneuverable front mounted linkage bins.
An option for the TLS is fitting the Mahm Double Disc row unit from Brazil which have been designed for Australian conditions. It incorporates all the best benefits of our other double disc options but with improvements in maintenance and ease of adjustments. With it’s set and forget style INA bearing system, there is no preloading or greasing needed and it is a common bearing between Disc Hub and Cover wheel. The Mahm unit will last longer, operate in more varied soil conditions and be easy to maintain and adjust whilst providing class-leading ground following ability and super accurate seed placement.

Quality Strong Frame
Built from a high quality, locally manufactured frame of 200x200x9.5mm wing sections and 200x100x9.5mm chassis section.
The frame is fully powder coated in the 3 stage process including an undercoat which adds to the robustness of the finish.
Tatu Row Units
2x 15″ double discs with a long, triple spring design allows for unmatched ground following. The cast closing wheel ensures excellent seed to soil contact and that the seed slot is closed effectively. The two discs are on a 6 degree angle to one another which means low soil disturbance and an excellent no-till seeding job.
Ground Following
The secret to the Serafin TLS’s success is the massive amount of travel in the row units allowing it to work in the most challenging, undulating conditions.
The triple springs allow each unit to independently travel 400mm vertically without effecting the unit next to it. It is also great for raised beds in irrigation situations.

TATU DOUBLE DISC ROW UNIT
The Closing Wheel Pivot has now been upgraded to a new sealed bearing and axle system rather than the old greasable shaft style. It is very similar to the Rear Pivot Upgrade Option which proved very successful.
This update to the unit has reduced the amount of grease nipples on each units down to just one. It will make the unit a lot more robust & a lot less maintenance. This is standard on any new machine from 2021 onwards.
MAHM DOUBLE DISC ROW UNIT
The Mahm Double Disc Row Unit from Brazil has been designed for Serafin’s to incorporate all the best parts of our other double disc row units but with improvements in versatility, maintenance and adjustment. The Mahm unit will longer, operate in more varied soil conditions and be easy to maintain and adjust whilst still providing class-leading ground following ability and super accurate seed placement.
Standard Features
- Proven 15″ & 16″ disc blades on a 7 degree angle that offers minimal soil disturbance and excellent seed placement.
- Long Triple Spring design that gives excellent penetration and outstanding ground following ability in undulating conditions.
- Very robust, fully sealed Disc Hub Bearings and Closing Wheel Bearings for reduced maintenance and long life.
- Easy to adjust Rack & Pinion setup on closing wheel position and adjustable mud scraper for closing wheel.
- Open Depth limiter that handles muddy conditions better than a solid. It is easy to clean out and has an adjustable scraper.
