FARMET DIGGER
The Farmet Digger is suitable especially as equivalent to standard ploughing at higher capacity and lower operating costs. It also is suitable for deep cultivation of impermeable layer of soil, levelling and fine processing of clods. It significantly improves absorption of compacted and wet soils and revitalizes headlands after harvest. It is also used for loosening of subsoil layer without risk of mixing with the biologically inactive soil.Â
The Digger is available in two models, the Digger N as a linkage deep ripper and the Digger P Fert+ Compact half carried model with an optional mounted fertiliser bin.Â

FARMET DIGGER Features
- 1. Deep loosening zone and mixing of plant residues. Loosening depth 30 - 50 cm. The special shape of loosening chisels provides excellent penetration into the densely packed soils with very low traction resistance. The chisels are in two rows. In extreme conditions, only one row of chisels can be used to reduce traction resistance.
- 2. Wave-levelling zone. Levelling discs also increase the effect of incorporating plant residues.
- 3. Clod crumb and soil compaction zone. Optimum soil reconsolidation ensures good infiltration and soil moisture rise.
High Performance
- The new tine design has a very low traction resistance and enables a high working speed up to 12 km/h.
- Ploughshares smoothly penetrate the soil and the soil is cultivated without mixing it with subsoil layer, so-called biologically inactive soil.
- Possibility of lifting one row of the tines under heavy conditions such as marshes, headlands or when ploughing roads after harvest.
- Two rows of tines provide a very good stability of the machine and precise depth guiding without the need to use tracing wheels. The high frame clearance of 750 mm provides excellent passability.
Robust Design
- High-strength refined materials used for crucial nodes to ensure long service life.
- Strongly dimensioned compact and carried frame.
- The ploughshares are fitted with plates of cemented carbides for long service life.
Protection of Ploughshares
The ploughshares are hydraulically protected by a release force at the tip of 1,100 kg or you can choose the variant with mechanical protection.
Mechanical Protection of Ploughshares
The variant with mechanical protection of ploughshares – in case of too high resistance the cutting of the screw occurs.
Prolonged Service Life of Ploughshares
The tips of ploughshares are fitted with plates of cemented carbides for long service life, low wear and to maintain optimum geometry.
Levelling Discs
The levelling discs direct the processed soil in front of the rear spiked rollers and at the same time provide precise furrow levelling.
Roller
The rear double spiked roller for fine processing of clods maintains the quality of the soil as in the presowing preparation in minimizing technologies or as the basic autumn soil processing for spring crops.
Ploughshares
The ploughshares with winglets incorporate plant residues very well and the levelling discs together with the double spiked roller perfectly level furrows.
Easy Operation
Adjustment of Depth
Easy working depth setting using tipping pads. When in the working position, the machine rests against the rear double spiked roller.
Adjustment of the Disc Height
The height of the levelling discs is set automatically using a parallelogram of the rear roller attachment. The handles for mechanical setting are used for precise tuning.
Hydraulic Control of Discs
To increase comfort of operator, the machine can be equipped with hydraulic control of the levelling discs. (optional)
Setting of the Down Pressure
Simple mechanical setting of the down pressure of the first row of the double spiked roller. The down pressure regulates the intensity of clod crumbling. The roller is equipped with maintenance-free bearings with high level of covering.
Slight Lifting of Ploughshares
Position of Winglets
The vertical position of winglets can be adjusted in three positions and thus obtain optimum incorporation of plant residues for various depths of processing.
Side Deflectors
For more precise connection of runs the machine can be equipped with side deflectors with adjustable height that automatically copy terrain.
Built Strong from the best materials to last a lifetime
Farmet’s special eXtra STEEL line steel is three (yes, 3) times the tensile strength of standard steel. This eXtra strength gives you a much longer life of the machine, less weight & lower fuel consumption.
Ball Valves
To facilitate disconnection of hydraulic circuits of ploughshare protection, these circuits are during machine shutdown equipped with ball valves.
