Single 18" plain disc with 7 degree angle to cut through heavy stubble residue in all soil types. The rubber depth wheel on the side of the disc controls the depth of seed exactly in all various ground types. It is beside the seed boot which is important. The rubber press wheel then pushes seed tight in the bottom of the trench and then the cast closing wheel puts new soil into the trench and compacts soil around the seed for perfect uniform germination. This unit has adjustable seed boot height with mud scraper. Very easily adjusted depth control. A well constructed row unit for fitment to linkage seeders or existing seeder bars with tynes.
